Why do I care

I was not born in this town.But I spent all my childhood in memory over here.I was educated here. Most of my service I spent in Mumbai. Part of my service i have spent in Pune.For last 16 years I have lived here.I have seen this beautiful town crumble and an ugly city rising it's head in it's place.I haven't much to go.But still I care.

Why do I care

I was not born in this town but my parents moved here when I was a child - I do not want to mention how many years ago;it will make me feel very ancient and that may be an impediment in my relating to a large number of readers. I have grown in this city,I was educated here. I went out to work for a very long time ;but I used to visit the city during holidays and family get-togethers. During service I spent 3 years in the city and having served for a number of years in Mumbai I was never really away from now what I can call as my city.
I have seen the infrastructure of the town crmble and seeing the beginning of a monster of a city slowly rising it's head. That makes me feel happy that I have'nt a very long to see the end.
But still I do care.Hope you will react to my views.
